    Tenure, Confirmation & Promotion

CUASA is always happy to provide information and support on the tenure, confirmation and promotion processes at Carleton.

Each spring, the Association hosts workshops to walk members through the process set out in the collective agreement, and share some tips for preparing applications. Watch your email or this website for upcoming workshop dates in Spring 2023.

Also be sure to check out our Dates & Deadlines page for further details on when applications and referee names are due, and when you can expect to learn if your applications have been successful.

You can also contact the CUASA Office for more support and resources for tenure, confirmation and promotion.

Carleton University Academic Staff Association acknowledges its location in the traditional and unceded territory of the Omàmiwininiwak.

As we enter the month of June, we have the privilege of celebrating two significant observances that hold profound meaning: National Indigenous History Month and the beginning of Pride season. Celebrating these observances together offers an opportunity to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions, resilience, and ongoing struggles Two-Spirit, Indigiqueer, and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ people.Full statement here:
