Welcome to our large and bright family home located in Blackburn Hamlet, a safe and family-friendly neighbourhood with excellent schools, stores, bike paths, parks, and restaurants. One of only 2 Ottawa neighborhoods nestled in the city’s greenbelt, a greenspace full of kilometers of peaceful walking and ski paths and also host to Just Food Farm. Our home is 10min away driving from the University of Ottawa and 25min from Carleton University with public-transportation easily accessible to both universities. Biking to the university of Ottawa is also possible in the summer times using the bicycle path along the Ottawa river.

The main floor includes a large kitchen with eat-in-space, bathroom, formal living and dining room, and a colorful den/study/office The upstairs level includes 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 bedrooms currently furnished for children, and two full bathrooms. The newly finished basement includes a large, bright family or play room, a large 5th bedroom, and a newly finished laundry and bathroom with shower. There is a private driveway accommodating several cars and a car garage with one parking spot. A car can be negotiated for rental. The large, south-facing backyard has several flower beds and potential garden beds, a nice patio with outside chairs and table and a full BBQ. The house is walking distance from excellent schools (english or french), and walking distance from a large grocery store, pharmacy and other shops. 12-month lease preferred from summer 2023 to summer of 2023, but we might be flexible to accommodate a 10-month lease with flexible start and end dates).
